Earlier this week the Daily Kos proclaimed that Republican Gov. Sarah
Palin was lying about
her newest baby–that indeed it was their 17 y/o daughter
Bristol’s. The purpose of course would to be to hide the fact that her
daughter
is unmarried. Now they admit Bristol is 5 mos. pregnant and will wed.
Gee…. Alaskan winters are dark almost 24hrs. What else is there to do? haha
But should the VP abandon her own child and family just to be VP?
Come hear the truth for yourself from the Editor of Daily Kos!!

"WHEN SYSTEMS COLLIDE"
A Candidate Forum to Discuss
HARRIS COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEMS
One Voice and The Network of Behavioral Health Providers invite you to a Candidates’ Forum at which candidates for key Harris County offices will offer their views on how the office for which they are running and the county can have an impact to ensure that the adult criminal justice system is not the community behavioral health treatment system “safety net”.
It is a well known fact that nation-wide the failure to provide adequate community behavioral health services impacts a community’s criminal justice system. In Harris County, much attention and effort have been paid to providing county inmates needed behavioral health treatment.
But should the Harris County Jail be the largest mental health facility in the state of Texas?

See the ultimate "bottom-feeder" Karl Roveat the downtown Aquarium!!
He will be in town for a fundraiser for 3 Repub state representative candidates (Davis, Legler, and Murphy) running against Matula, Thibaut, and Redmond. This means they are running scared.
We are looking for a large crowd with the theme: “Go home Rove. Take Davis with you”. Or something similar.

Greater Heights Democratic Club
at
"White Linen Nights" in the Heights
Dear fellow Dems,
Looking for a “sultry, steamy, exotic, and artfully provocative” good time? If so join the Greater Heights Democratic Club Sat night August 2 from 4pm – 10pm for White Linen Nights in the Heights. The event billed as a “celebration of art, culture and community” has something satisfying for everyone. Last years event brought out an estimated 20,000 visitors to this New Orleans style “FREE” event; located primarily along 19th St, 11th St, and Studewood.
This year GHDC (Greater Heights Democratic Club) will have a table at the Houston Heights White Linen Night on 19th street . Our plan is to help the Noriega Campaign id voters for their GOTV efforts, sell T-shirts, register voters, and to have a fun group of folks that can help our Democratic candidates meet the estimated 20,000 visits / voters that will be in the Heights for this once a year event.
In order to make this work we need your help. Greater Heights Democratic Club is looking for volunteers to help man the GHDC table for 1 hour shifts.
If you would like volunteer for this great Heights area event please email Kevin J Hoffman at kjhman12002@yahoo.com or call (713) 305-5468. Please state in your email the times that would work best for you.
Shifts:

4:00pm - 5:00pm
5:00pm - 6:00pm
