Program: The War. This fall, acclaimed PBS documentarian Ken Burns, will release his latest television series on World War II called “The War.” We will celebrate Veterans’ Day with Ken Burns. Veterans receive a 10% discount at all levels including patron, valid ID required at the door, which for veterans, may include a military uniform which is welcome and encouraged.
Program at 7:30 p.m. in the Wortham Center, Brown Theater. Private patron reception with the speaker at 6:15 in the green room. / Book signing after the program in the grand foyer. Books will be on sale throughout the evening by Brazos Bookstore. / A limited number of premiere-patron tickets at $200 and patron tickets at $150 include center-front seating, private patron reception with the speaker, an autographed book, and commemorative book plate. Tickets from $15 to $64. Discounts for seniors 65 and over, groups of 15 or more, and students are available at 10% off nonsubsription prices at all levels except patron. Valid ID required at the door. There are no tickets sold in advance at The Wortham box office or any physical box office.
