National Night Out, annual neighborhood rallies

The Houston Police Department is proud to partner up with the citizens of Houston in this “24th Annual National Night Out” crime prevention event. On Tuesday, August 7, 2007, become involved and join over 35 million people in more than 11,000 communities to promote police-community partnerships; crime, drug, and violence prevention; safety; and neighborhood unity.

Looks good for the Heights. Just thinking this is the first year I’m not pertrified by the thought of the West Nile Mosquito. (Probably I can’t be on red alert multi-years in a row.) I’m thinking of looking to see what’s over here in North Spring Branch… ‘Course I’m in an apt. complex - our own little neighborhood.
