Milestones are to be admired, congratulated, celebrated. 2007 marks 75 years that the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (HLSR) has been a grand champion for the Houston region.

HLSR annually generates over $344 million in revenue for the Houston economy.

With the approval of HLSR, The Houston Forum will present "Let’s Rodeo" and award The Woodson Medal for outstanding community leadership and service to Joseph T. Ainsworth, M.D., James Bloodworth, James Graves, H. Stuart Lang, Jr., Louis M. Pearce, Jr. and Don D. Jordan. These individuals have the unique distinction of having served as both president and chairman of HLSR and are lifetime members of the Executive Committee.
