There is much to celebrate. Annie’s List has helped elect eight new pro-choice Democratic women to the Texas Legislature in the last three years and five of those were in just the last 12 months! With these ladies taking their oath of office on January 9th, a party the night before was definitely in order.
They have booked a live musical performance by the Asylum Street Spankers (who are hilarious and politically astute on top of musically talented) as well as a BBQ buffet with plenty of beer and cocktails. A great time will be had by all!
