Richard Garcia, a successful businessman and conservative family man, is running for Harris County Treasurer to revere the enduring legacy of the Honorable Jack Cato and to save Harris County taxpayers millions of their hard earned dollars by first streamlining the office to make it more efficient, effective and economical and then to abolish the of Office of Harris County Treasurer altogether.
“Jack Cato, Harris County’s last county treasurer, a valued public servant and community volunteer served Houston and Harris County honorably for more than a third of a century. His memory must be respected,“ said Garcia, who’s Puerto Rican parents came to Chicago (where Richard was born and raised) and through hard work worked his way to earn his BS in business administration, majoring in finance, with minors in accounting and economics before his Masters in Business
Administration and insurance industry certifications and licenses.

Richard has received the Houston Association of Realtor’s (HAR) endorsement and his opponent, former candidate for Mayor in 2001 is Orlando Sanchez,  a realtor !
Richard has also received financial support from Shirley Cato (widow of Honorable Jack Cato, HC Treasurer) and her pledge for her vote for Richard!

After this event–its 20 days to victory!

Richard
